2003 Leithaberg St. Laurent trocken Silvia Prieler, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly intense sweetish nose with ripe sweet cherries and preserved red berries, dark roasted chestnuts, smoky notes and some black berries. Full-bodied, firm on the palate, dark chocolate and mixed berries, prominent spicy oak, fairly prominent, very fine tannins, mineral traces in the background, hint of smoke, noticeable alcohol, still much too young, medium depth, evry full-bodied but also has some cooling elements, very good long finish.
