2003 Leithaberg Ried Stein trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Black berries and some cherries on the nose, spicy with some dried herbs, light mineral notes and subdued oak. Tart and elegantly juicy on the palate, clear fruit, more prominent mienral notes, roasted and herbaceous notes, fairly prominent, slightly sandy tannins, very good persistence, good finish.

Firmly structured, cool, clean and delicately juicy, very fine, mature tannins, integrated oak, herbaceous and mineral notes on the palate, very well balanced, light peppery notes, very harmonious, long finish.
