2021 Wagram DAC Ried Steinberg Riesling trocken "Selection", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Citrus and stone fruit aroma with herbal notes reminiscent of laurel, delicate floral nuances and a hint of juniper. Ripe, slightly developed, juicy, not quite dry fruit, lively acidity, somewhat sandy grip, good persistence, herbal notes, also nutty tones, delicate bitterness in the background, mineral notes, medium strength, quite juicy finish, again with grip as well as smoky and herbal spice.

Editor note: Clear, polished, almost cool bouquet with bright, quite fine yellow fruity aromas, still a hint of yeast, vegetal nuances and a hint of flowers. Bright, slightly sweet melting fruit, fine acidity and some grip, a little root vegetable on the palate, good substance and persistence, clear minerality, a hint of candy, very good, firm, again slightly sweet finish with grip and bite.
