2011 trocken Tesoro, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly firm nose, tarry notes and oak, ripe black berries, earthy notes, some blood, dried vegetal notes. Fairly tart, polished dark fruit on the palate, some oak, tar and tobacco, some more blood, firm, fine tannins, delicate acid bite, good substance and persistence, salty mineral notes in the background, still largely undeveloped, some depth, full-bodied, but also has some cool elements, hint of tobacco, touch of black pepper, very good, tart, juicy finish. Classy wine.
