2005 Leithaberg Merlot trocken Schneiderteil, Burgenland, Austria

Preserved light cherries, some unripe plums and red berries on the nose, hint of onions. Quite juicy red fruit on the palate, some green vegetal notes, fairly prominent tannins, reasonably well integrated, dusty and astringent, integrated spicy oak, light mineral as well as smoky notes, fairly creamy, quite full-bodied, attractive to good finish.
