Editor note: Light floral notes on the nose, touch of yellow spice, ripe, partly candied yellow fruit, hint of tobacco, earthy and mineral traces. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, vegetal, herbaceous and floral as well as earthy notes, elegant, lively acidity, noticeable tannic gripo, good persistence, light chalky and salty notes in the background, very slightly muted, medium body, slightly creamy, good to very good, tart finish.
Best to drink: Mid-2019-2022+

City on the Rhine in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate with about 25,000 inhabitants at the mouth of the Nahe river into the Rhine at the foot of the Rochusberg.
