2016 Brut Nature "Rote Brause", Rheinhessen, Germany

Light yeasty notes on the nose, light spicy oak, ripe black berries and cherries. Light-bodied, bone dry fruit on the palate, fine mousse, noticeable tannins, smoky, spicy oak, some substance and persistence, hint of tar and tobacco in the background, light earthy notes, good to very good, tart finish.
