2015 Süd-Steiermark Ried Pössnitzberg Kapelle Sauvignon Blanc trocken STK Große Lage, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Deep, concentrated, complex nose, still rather closed, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, peppery and mineral aromas, citrus notes, whiff of green berries and elderberries. Ripe, very concentrated, tranquil, cremy fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal notes, earthy, nutty and light peppery notes, still largely undeveloped, very elegant acidity, integrated tannins, persistent, good depth, quite complex, prominent chalky mineral notes, spicy traces, olive oil, some grip on a long, firm, creamy, spicy finish with more powerful mineral notes. Needs time to mature.
