2014 Süd-Steiermark Ried Pössnitzberg Sauvignon Blanc trocken STK Große Lage, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, cool nose, green vegetal notes, citrus fruit, yeastym earthy and mineral notes, touch of green pepper, black berries, some dried herbs, light floral traces. Firm and tart, light-bodied but also fairly concentrated cool green fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal notes, light floral touch, fairly prominent acidity, light tannic grip, hint of red and black berries, still slightly yeasty, prominent bite, has some depth, a bit of finesse on a very good finish. Still needs time to mature.
