2018 Silvaner Landwein trocken "Orange", Main, Germany

Slightly cloudy old gold. Yeasty and finely vegetal pome fruit scent with floral nuances, a hint of almonds and hints of yellow spice. Ripe, spicy fruit, smoky and woody notes, distinctly yeasty tones, fine acidity and plenty of grip from crumbly tannin, good persistence, medium power, nutty spice, a hint of tobacco, chalk and salt in the background, good to very good, slightly warm finish.
