Editor note: Clear, polished, nutty and delicately smoky fragrance with light yellow-fruity notes, herbal-vegetable nuances, floral traces and tart, again light minerality. Young, reserved fruit with yeasty, light nutty and chalky-mineral tones, a hint of smoke, fine, lively acidity and still a little bit of wood tannin, good substance and sustainability, some power, some depth, vanilla traces, very good, quite tight finish with bite. The wine-growing region is located in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The vineyards cover 11,461 hectares of vines, stretching between Lake Con stance and the valley of the Tauber below Rothenburg (Taubergrund). The geographical and climatic conditions are shaped by many river valleys. On its very winding course, the tributaries Rems, Enz, Kocher and Jagst flow to the Neckar.
