2019 Pinot Gris trocken, Baden, Germany

Relatively cool, firm, somewhat vegetal, delicately floral and nutty nose of ripe yellow fruits with a hint of dried herbs and mushrooms as well as a noticeable woody perfume. Ripe, warm fruit with a delicately sweet melt, a hint of black berries and again quite distinct light woody flavours, very fine, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, good persistence, hints of nut butter, has power and noticeable alcohol, salty and earthy tones in the very good, slightly warming and again noticeably woody finish
