2006 Iphofen Kalb Scheurebe Spätlese trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly perfumed nose, cassis and elderberry flowers. Vegetal notes on the palate, slightly dissolute apple and cassis fruit, herbaceous notes and some elderberry, integrated acidity, slightly rustic and not particularly complex, solid varietal character, attractive finish.
