2017 Essingen Sonnenberg Chardonnay trocken sky&sand, Pfalz, Germany

Prominent nutty oak on the nose, partly preserved and candied yellow fruit, vegetal and floral traces. Slightly creamy and slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, delicate smoky, nutty oak, vegetal and floral traces, hint of bacon, earthy and mineral traces, elegant acidity, fairly good substance and persistence, light salty notes, light tannic touch, hint of bacon on a good to very good slightly sweetish and creamy finish.
