2015 Sauvignon Blanc trocken Hades, Württemberg, Germany

Tart, polished, surprisingly cool nose, prominent vegetal and earthy notes, green fruit, some mustard, zucchini and bell peppers. Initially slightly yeasty and muted on the palate, then much more juicy with firm fruit, smoked bacon and oak, cloves, bay leaf and citrus fruit, some sugar candy, noticeable but fairly well integrated warm alcohol, firm grip, prominent mineral notes, hint of eucalyptus, powerful, but also has some bite, grapefruit and green vegetal notes, on a very good and fairly alcoholic finish.
