2013 Jodokus, Hades, Württemberg, Germany

Nutty oak on the nose, earthy notes, hint of tobacco, red and some black berries, whiff of mushrooms, peanuts, dill and mint, floral traces. Tart, fairly cool, juicy fruit on the palate, nutty oak, hint of mushrooms, licorice, some more earthy notes, slightly muted by slightly sandy tannins, medium body, fairly persistent, some bite, buttery and vegetal traces, slightly brittle on a good to very good finish.
