Peppery notes on the nose, hint of bacon and mushrooms, ripe red and a few black berries, restrained smoky oak, floral and herbaceous traces. Ripe, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, light smoky, toasted oak, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, full body, sooty tracs and a hint of bacon in the background, earthy and salty notes, light peppery spice, some depth, still young, very slightly rustic style, coffee and toasted oak notes on a very good, firm, ripe, dark, juicy finish.
