2015 Achkarren Schlossberg Grauburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Firm, tart, fairly cool nose, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, delicate smoky oak, prominent mineral notes, light yellow fruit. Firm and juicy on the palate, surprisingly cool considering the high level of alcohol, light nutty, smoky, spicy otasted oak, very elegant, lively acidity, persistent, has some depth, reined-in power, hint of tobacco and sugar candy, mineral notes in the background, with aeration shows noticeable warm alcohol, grippy on an expressive, very good finish.
