Nose still fairly shy, light vegetal and earthy notes, prominent floral aromas, light toasted notes, hint of tobacco and dried herbs, dark chocolate, aubergine, sage, hint of muscat and pepper. Tart and quite firm on the palate, light toasted oak, light peppery and earthy notes, fairly dark fruit, some bacon, mushrooms and dried herbs, light nutty notes, hint of dark chocolate, prominent cardamom, light acid bite, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly brittle, coffee, firm structure, full-body, persistent, spicy notes on a very good finish. Needs some time to develop.
