Tart nose, earthy and light dried vegetal notes, ripe mixed berries and cherries, moderate spicy oak, tarry traces, capers, hint of tobacco, earthy and mineral notes, hint of juniper and bay leaf. Quite full-bodied on the palate, tart dark fruit, sooty, toasted oak, tarry tarces again, earthy and salty mineral notes in the background, fairly prominent sandy tannins, slightly minty herbaceous notes, persistent, hint of licorice, noticeable alcohol, very good finish.
