2005 Ihringen Winklerberg Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken, Baden, Germany

Partly dried and preserved pomaceous fruit on the nose, delicate hint of melon, some sugar candy, nutty with light buttery notes. Clear, fairly mature nutty fruit on the palate, bone dry style, light vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, fairly creamy, fiarly persistent, hint of tobacco and caramel, very good finish. In surprisingly good condition, but should be drunk soon after opening.
