2004 Ihringen Winklerberg Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken - Holzfass -, Baden, Germany

Honeydew melon and some apples on the nose, light touch of spicy oak. Quite cool on the palate, clean, very well integrated oak, very elegant acidity and mineral elements, full-bodied with a light bite, persistent on the palate, firmly structured, good depth and length. Needs some time to mature.
