1999 Spätburgunder trocken *** Weinhaus Heger, Baden, Germany

Clear garnet red, significantly lighter on the rim. Spicy oak on the nose, partly cooked plums and red berries. Soft, quite juicy fruit, spicy oak, fine-grained tannins, powerful, rich body, slightly prominent alcohol on the palate, attractive finish.
