1999 Ihringen Winklerberg Chardonnay Spätlese trocken, Baden, Germany

Very intense bouquet accompanied by very elegant, delicately smoky, spicy oak, aroma of melons, candied citrus fruits, mange-tout, minerals and a touch of peach. Supple, crystal clear fruit, full-bodied, elegant acidity in the background, sweet and spicy, perfectly integrated spicy oak, has structure, rich style, but is also pleasantly fresh, persistent on the palate, perfect balance, clean finish.
