2021 Wachenheim Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Cool, somewhat vegetal to herbal, almondy and hinted at bacony pome and stone fruit scent with nuances reminiscent of young root vegetables. Clear, juicy, firm fruit with still yeasty traces, lively, almost marbling acidity, lemon fillets and fresh herbal notes in the background, delicate grip, good persistence, some depth, salty minerality, very good finish with bite.
