2018 Wachenheim Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken "R", Pfalz, Germany

Very slightly developed, distinctly herbal to somewhat sweet stone fruit scent with smoky nuances, nutty traces and hints of yellow spice. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit, dried-vegetable to herbal, nutty and delicately floral tones, fine acidity and plenty of grip from friable tannin, certain minerality, a hint of dark fruit in the background, tobacco nuances and a hint of marzipan, very good, firm, again sweetish finish with grip, spice and minerality.
