2019 Syrah trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm aroma of ripe black berries with dried planty to herbal notes, floral nuances, black olives and a hint of bacon. Tart, ripe dark fruit with slightly toasty and coffee-spicy wood notes, dried-vegetable to herbal aromas as well as a little pepper and juniper, fine tannin, warming alcohol, good persistence, slightly chocolaty tones, some bite, salty minerality in the background, relatively complex, very good, again warm, a hint of drying finish with ethereal nuances.
