2019 Carnuntum DAC Ried Kirchweingarten Erste ÖTW Ried trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fresh, firm and quite deep aroma of predominantly dark berries and some cherries with tobacco nuances and a hint of cocoa. Clear, quite juicy, again fresh looking fruit, nutty and somewhat dried herbal to tobacco flavours, persistent, some depth, fine, ripe tannin and some acid bite, a touch of juniper and tar in the background, some depth, salty and chalky notes, very good, firm finish with youthful juice, hints of bacon, nuts and tart dark spice.
