2019 Carnuntum DAC Prellenkirchen Blaufränkisch trocken "Samt & Seide", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, polished nose of ripe mixed berries with herbal and a little juniper aromas as well as delicate floral and peppery tones. Fine, ripe, youthful fruit, friable tannin, some ethereal spice, persistent and quite dense on the palate, some power, salty mineral tones, herbal notes and floral traces, a little pepper, moderate wood tones, a hint of coffee, very good, tangy, quite firm finish.
