2018 Carnuntum DAC Ried Spitzerberg Erste ÖTW Ried trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Deep and complex, somewhat warm aroma of partly preserved red and black berries with dried floral, nutty and peppery aromas, a little liquorice and tobacco as well as mineral hints. Ripe, juicy, again somewhat warm fruit, smoky and peppery-spicy aromas, crumbly-sandy tannin, persistent and quite dense on the palate, salty mineral tones, a little coffee, ethereal notes, juniper and herbs, good depth, multi-layered, very good, firm, juicy and again clearly spicy finish.
