2016 Carnuntum Ried Spitzerberg trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Somewhat developed, tart, slightly smoky and tobacco aroma of black and a little red berries with dried floral nuances, a little olive and hints of tar. Firmly woven, tart fruit with dark, a little smoky spice, dried-floral to herbal aromas, a little tar, tobacco and a hint of bacon, juniper tones in the background, a hint of roasting, some power, persistent, chalky and salty minerality, very good, quite firm finish.
