2015 Carnuntum Ried Spitzerberg trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Somewhat developed, black and red berry, tobacco and a hint of lactic scent with slightly tobacco and dried floral aromas, earthy tones, meat and hints of juniper and smoke. Ripe, partly preserved, tart fruit, crumbly-sandy tannin, ethereal notes, nutty wood tones, vanilla and aromatic smoke, has power and a certain warmth, but also cooling ethereal tones, salty and chalky hints in the background, very good finish with coffee-roasted nuances.
