2018 Martinsthal Langenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Kight yeasty notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, herbaceous and delicate spicy notes, stone and pomaceous fruit , some candied citrus fruit, cardamom, nutty notes, floral aromas, light mineral notes. Fairly juicy, sweet, partly candied fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, floral and herbaceous notes, light mineral notes, hint of white pepper in the background, fresh vegetal and floral traces, touch of candied lemon, shows more depth and complexity with aeration, very good, fairly firm, rather sweet, grippy finish.
