Slightly smoky and somewhat dried herbal aroma of red and black berries with earthy tones reminiscent of beetroot and other root vegetables, moderate woody barrel notes and a little dark ethereal spice. Firmly knit, tangy, almost cool fruit, fine sandy tannin, smoky and moderately woody tones, dried herbs and a hint of juniper on the palate, certain fermentation tones, again also earthy beetroot notes as well as some pepper and hints of bacon, still a hint drying, good depth, firm structure, very good, pithy finish with tart juice, dark ethereal spice, herbs and lots of grip.
