Clear, quite fresh aroma of more red than black berries with cherry notes, some pomegranate, a hint of tomato, paprika powder, pepper and meat. Taut, tangy, rather red fruit, noticeable acidity, youthful, fine tannin, smoky and again hinted at meaty on the palate, smoky pepper notes, fresh tomatoes, clear minerality in the background, a little varnish, very good, firm, tangy, still slightly drying finish, again with bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
