2018 Oberstenfeld Forstberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tart scent of red and a little black berries with aromas reminiscent of spring onions, hints of bread crust, coriander and restrained wood spice. Relatively juicy fruit with nutty and cocoa spicy notes and again spring onions, fine sandy, ripe tannin, chalky-salty mineral tones, good persistence, a hint of toastiness, moderate acid bite, smoky nuances, good to very good, relatively juicy finish with toasty flavours and bite.
