The winery is located in the municipality of Gobelsburg in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. A Heuriger and some guest rooms are attached. It has been managed by Gerald Schneider since 1995. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in the top vineyards Heiligenstein, Hussen, Redling, Spiegel, Steinsetz and Wechselberg. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay and Frühroter Veltliner, as well as the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt and Blauburgunder.
The environmentally friendly cultivation is carried out according to the rules of organic viticulture with organic fertilization and without herbicides. The vines are pulled just above the ground so that the grapes can absorb the heat of the soil. A part of the vines is cultivated in the lyre system. The ripe and healthy grapes, which are harvested selectively by hand only, are immediately sent to the vinification process by means of small crates.
After gentle pressing, the musts are fermented and aged in stainless steel or oak barrels. Among the premium wines are the site wines Zöbinger Heiligenstein Riesling, Strasser Wechselberg Riesling, Gobelsburger Steinsetz Grüner Veltliner, Gobelsburger Redling Grüner Veltliner, Gobelsburger Blauer Zweigelt and Gobelsburger Blauburgunder. A summery wine line is called "Fescher Kampl". Since 2003 the wines are partly bottled with screw cap. About 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
