2018 Pünderich Marienburg Riesling Spätlese VDP.Grosse Lage, Goldkapsel, Mosel, Germany

Firm, sweet nose, partly candied ande partlydrieds citrus and stone fruit, hint of dark berries, mineral notes. Ripe, verysweet, juicy fruit on the palate, partly candied and partly dried, elegant acidity, light grip, concentrated and persistent, yeasty traces, hint of red and black berries in the background,, mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, has virtually the character of a Beerenauslese, but also fairly fresh in style, quite complex, very good, long, very juicy finish with candied notes. Needs time to mature.
