2015 Pünderich Marienburg Riesling trocken Grosses Gewächs, Falkenlay, Mosel, Germany

Slightly nutty and a hint of caramel stone fruit aroma with citrus flavours, crumbly-apricot nuances, hints of herb butter and tobacco. Clear, firm, juicy fruit, almost cool in appearance, very fine acidity and grip of ripe tannins, nutty, delicately smoky and hints of tobacco tones, persistent, good substance and a certain depth, clear, stony minerality, herbal notes, also some salt and a tiny hint of pepper, very good, firm, sweetish-juicy finish with tart spice and minerality.
