2017 Sulzfeld Lerchenberg Blaufränkisch VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Baden, Germany

Very slightly warm, a hint of toasty scent of ripe black berries with restrained plum tones, dried floral nuances, some wood and liquorice. Ripe, straightforward, somewhat smoky fruit, toasty and nutty wood aromas, again also liquorice, very slightly drying tannin, some persistence, dried vegetal nuances, good to very good, again a little drying finish.
