2020 Oppenheim Sackträger Riesling trocken "Erster Sack", Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, slightly dried-vegetable to tobacco and also floral scent with restrained yellow-fruity and a little bacony aromas. Ripe, quite dry, relatively juicy yellow fruit with delicately smoky, nutty, yellow-spicy and buttery notes, fine acidity and a lot of grip of ripe tannin, certain persistence, smoky hints, very slightly bacony and mushroomy, good to very good, again a hint of buttery finish with grip and volatile tones.
