2009 Kamptal DAC Ried Heiligenstein Riesling Reserve trocken Erste Lage "Alte Reben", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Somewhat sweet stone fruit nose with exotic tones, candy notes, a hint of wax, flowers and a little herbs. Ripe, quite juicy, again a little exotic fruit, fine acidity, some grip, candy notes and butter, vegetal nuances on the palate, some persistence, red berry nuances, mineral hints, slight warmth, a hint of mint and also a little pepper, very good, quite sweet finish with candy notes and yellow spice.
