Translate to English Mattgold. Gereifte, deutlich buttrige und nussig-holzige Nase mit Aromen von teils angetrocknetem Kernobst, vegetabilen und leicht speckigen Tönen, etwas Kandis und erdiger Mineralik im Hintergrund. Klare, feinsaftige, schmelzige Frucht, nussiges Holz, Kandis und leicht vegetabile Aromen, sehr feine Säure, nachhaltig und schmelzig am Gaumen, kühlende Mineralik im Hintergrund, leicht gewürzige Töne, eine Spur Trockenobst und Lebkuchen, hat Griff, sehr guter Abgang.

Editor note: Fairly mature nose, but also quite firm, apples and nuts, delicate spicy oak, herbaceous and mineral notes. Almost polished partly preserved apple fruit on the palate, delicate notes of stone fruit and banana, elegant spicy oak, full-bodied and also very charming, integrated, polished acidity, light nutty notes, excellent varietal character, still needs lots of aeration to show its mettle, gains in complexity and depth, long finish. Outstanding partner with food, initially totally underrated.

Editor note: Fairly mature nose, tranquil, typical, with notes of artichokes and pomaceous fruit, vegetal notes and some hay. Light hint of caramel on the palate, medium-bodied, polished fruit, delicate hint of vanilla, fairly mature, but no rush to drink this, integrated acidity, well integrated oak, mineral traces in the background, light tannic touch on a good finish.
