2018 Greuth Bastel Silvaner trocken "Pur", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, somewhat herbaceous-vegetable, very slightly smoky pome fruit scent with fine vegetable aromas, a trace of yeast and some fennel. Ripe, bright, melting fruit, nutty, vegetal and very slightly white-peppery aromas, very fine acidity, some grip of ripe tannin, buttery traces, some warmth, very good finish with tobacco and smoky traces.
