2012 Riesling trocken "Pur", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Developed, planty and delicately floral nose with yellow fruity aromas, nutty traces, laurel, lovage, a hint of resin and hints of dark fruit. Ripe, somewhat melting fruit, dried planty and slightly nutty tones, again also floral nuances, fine acidity, good persistence, has power and a certain alcohol warmth, in the background mineral and tobacco hints, again also resinous herbs, moderate tannin that covers a trace, very good, sweetly melting and slightly tobacco finish. In good condition; more convincing than in its youth.
