2018 Sulzfeld Maustal Sylvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken "Mönchshöflein", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat muted, tart, a little rustic nose with vegetal, earthy and yellow fruity notes, a little mushroom and noticeable alcohol. Relatively tart fruit, clearly vegetable and earthy to mineral notes, a touch of candy, tobacco and spicy hints, quite lively acidity, a little drying tannin, a lot of alcohol, remains rather rustic on the palate, good, alcoholic finish. For a "big plant" then nevertheless too coarsely knitted
