2021 Riesling trocken "G700", Rheinhessen, Germany

Relatively tart, firm and quite deep, clearly herbaceous-vegetable nose with restrained, rather noble yellow-fruity aromas, delicately peppery and tobacco nuances, chanterelles and minerality. Taut, tangy, rather cool, bone-dry fruit, herbaceous-vegetable and yeasty notes, quite present, ripe acidity and lots of grip, delicate sandy flow on the palate, persistent, light minerality, smoky traces, good depth, nutty hints, very good, taut, juicy and grippy finish, again with some smoke, seaweed, mushrooms and dried-vegetable tones.
