2015 Réserve trocken François, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, fairly tart nose, cedary traces and a hint of tobacco, partly preserved black berries and cherries. Ripe, juicy, polished frit on the palate, light acid bite, fine youthful tannins, persistent, delicate smokey, toasted oak, light salty notes and some citrus zests, hint of tobacco and cocoa in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool elements, some depth, very good firm finish.
