2014 trocken Braunewell Dinter, Rheinhessen, Germany

Dried floral scent of partially dried citrus fruits, pears and sea buckthorn with dried vegetable and earthy-mineral nuances. Partly preserved, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, some nutmeg, wilted foliage and sandalwood, salty and tobacco notes, earthy mineral notes in the background, fairly prominent, backbone-giving tannin, present, fairly fine acidity, persistent and substantial, good to very good finish with handle.
