The winery is located in the community of Mainz-Kostheim
in the German Rheingau
wine region. The estate is managed by Michael and Gabriele Bott. The vineyards comprise three hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Reichestal
(Hochheim) and St. Kiliansberg (Kostheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling and Pinot Gris as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Merlot. Wine-growing is consistently carried out in a near-natural, environmentally friendly manner. Quality criteria are low yields from old vines and selective harvesting of almost overripe grapes. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced.
